マットーネ・シリーズ

イタリアの伝統製法である「バケッタ製法」により作られる、極上の皮革マットーネ。
手に吸い付くような質感と、高級感あふれる光沢に見惚れる。
使い込むごとに光沢が増し、革製品特有の風合いを存分に味わうことができる。
ココマイスターのロングセラーシリーズである。

由来は・・・
イタリアのカーフ（子牛の皮）を使用し、ガゼインという加工を施した革のことを言います。
たくさんのオイルを手作業で塗り込んでいる為、マットーネを使用した財布などは半年程度使用すると、光沢が出てきます。
また、牛が生前につけた傷やシワなど革本来の表情が出やすい革です。

触れてみると・・・
子牛の皮を使用している為、触り心地はとても柔らかくしなやかです。
他の革の中では1番艶があり、ツルツルとした感触があります。
若い子牛がもつ若々しく、エネルギッシュである革であるので経年変化を楽しみめ、自分色に染めることのできる革です。

マットーネとは・・・
1000年もの歴史を持つバケッタ製法で作られた革に、卵白を原料に使用する「カゼイン加工」で艶を出しているのが特徴です。
使い込めば使い込むほど、革らしい経年変化が見られ、存分に経年変化を楽しむことが出来ます。唯一無二の個性ある表情を醸し出す、非常に美しい皮革です。
高品質な革を作ることをコンセプトとしているタンナー「CONCERIA CARRO BADARASSI」が、時間とコストがかかることを承知の上で必要なレシピを使い、作り上げています。
適度なシボ感が醸し出す光沢ある吟面の表情は、１つ１つに表情豊かで、牛が生きていた頃についた傷がそのまま残されています。
バラ傷やトラ（シワ）や血筋の跡など、天然皮革の証とも言える特徴です。

革本来の表情でありながら光沢感がある
マットーネは革本来の表情である、バラ傷、トラやシワなど天然皮革の証とも言える表情を持ちながら、カゼイン加工という製法により独自の光沢感を併せ持っています。
一般的な染料仕上げの革は、革本来の表情を維持していくと、光沢感はあまり出ず、マットな風合いになります。
ですが、マットーネは始めから光沢感があり、使うごとに味を増していくように作られています。

革製品としての扱いやすさ
革にたくさんのオイルが含まれているため、乾燥しにくいです。
また、普段使用することもメンテナンスとして機能します。
革製品はメンテナンスが必要なものが多いですが、マットーネは比較的楽な分類に入ります。
ただし、水には弱いので注意が必要です。

皮革の経年変化を堪能できる
マットーネは植物タンニンで鞣した牛革にオイルをたっぷり時間をかけて染み込ませていく、バケッタ製法で作られています。
一旦染み込ませたオイルは抜けにくく、使い込んだ時に独特の光沢が出て、段々と色の深みを増していきます。

マットーネのお手入れ方法
マットーネの一番のメンテナンス方法は日々使用することです。繊維をほぐしオイルを移動させ、手の脂により表面がコーティングされます。普段のメンテナンスで、気になる方はコロニル・シュプリームクリームを２週間に１回程度、表面と裏面に塗ると、表面がコーティングされます。
